The constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria will be used as a foothold in relation to this precise odyssey.
In exercise of the mandate conferred on the
press by Section 22 CFRN 1999, which
expressly provides that:
“The Press, radio, television and other
agencies of the mass media shall at all times be free to uphold the fundamental
objectives contained in this Chapter and uphold the responsibility and
accountability of the Government to the People.”
This collective legal tribune will be
spearheaded by a team of highly objective, liberal and open-minded editors. To
this end, we are poised to:

quality news service to all LAWSANS regularly.
v Bring
the government of LAWSA closer to LAWSANS.
v Provide
constructive criticism and embellishment to both the legislative and executive
arm of LAWSA.

hold the government of LAWSA responsible and accountable to LAWSANS.

provide enhanced political awareness and increased political participation.
