What is law if one may ask?
Is it an art or act to task?
Either way one cannot be wrong.
In the field of humanities it is rung.
To some, positivist they call them
Law is a command upon which sanctions stems
From a political superior
To a political inferior.
To others it is a notion of fairness
Which concerns itself with righteousness.
Upon equity it is based
On it can justice be raised.
Whichever view you think is right
Endeavour always to keep in sight
And in our memories should we store
That the world is nothing without law.
