SUCH A MYSTERY

Death!!! Such a mystery to bear
Thy wings one cannot but fear
When thou takes’t thy lofty flight
One seems to wonder at the height
Leaving behind trails of pain and grief
That nothing else can be a relief
Will not ignore you in public.

Oh! What can be worst than death?
When covered by hallow dirt
That we should rise
His grace to praise
To behold our everlasting prize
Only to be denied the gains
With clothes torn and ragged
To doom we be dragged

Death! Death!! Death!!!
Such a mystery you are in the ring
That even he the king
In humility he bows to sorrow
With a view of life so shallow
In periods of pains and distress
My soul has often found to stress
BE NOT AFRAID OF WHAT IS TO COME
